The esteemed President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting on digital communications, during which issues of the socio-economic development of the country, and also the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the regions, were discussed on April 18.
The heads of local administrations reported on the state of affairs in the regions, measures aimed at the successful implementation of the National Rural Program and the high pace of construction work. Information was also provided on the preparation of events planned on the occasion of significant dates.
Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov after listening to the reports stressed the importance of farmers' responsible approach to cotton sowing and compliance with the quality of work, measures to combat weeds and pests in wheat fields, and also the importance of proper organization of work on growing high yields of potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops in order to ensure food abundance in the country.
“Along with this, the care of silkworm caterpillars should be properly organized,” – emphasized the head of state.
In this regard it was reported, that silkworm caterpillars are currently being cared for in Ahal, Lebap and Mary velayats, and high-quality grains have been harvested in Balkan velayat, which are distributed among silkworm breeders. In Dashoguz velayat, taking into account the climatic conditions of the region, silkworm caterpillars will be cared for on April 26.
Besides that, the esteemed President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of ensuring the high quality of construction work at social facilities and their timely commissioning.
The head of state in this regard demanded to pay special attention to the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital in Ahal velayat. The esteemed President also gave a number of instructions to increase the pace of construction of a multidisciplinary hospital and an oncological center in the Dashoguz region and to ensure strict control over the ongoing work.
Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure a high level of organization of events, dedicated to the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, which is celebrated in Turkmenistan on the last Sunday of April.
