On May 30, the esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the hyakims of the velayats.
During the meeting, issues of the course of seasonal campaigns carried out on the agricultural lands of the velayats and preparations for the celebration of upcoming significant dates were considered.
The heads of regional administrations and the Deputy Prime Minister for Agro industrial Complex reported on the ongoing activities in the relevant areas. Having familiarized himself with the information provided, the esteemed President focused on the need to create appropriate conditions for the start organized on June 3, optimal holding and speedy completion of an important season in the life of grain growers - the grain harvesting campaign.
The main emphasis at the meeting was made on the issues of harvesting wheat and caring for cotton crops. More precisely, the head of state stressed that the wheat harvest must be kept under constant and strict control.
It was also noted that, along with caring for cotton crops, it is necessary to use machinery and aggregates at full capacity, supply the fields with mineral fertilizers and pest control agents.
Along with these, the esteemed President also inquired about the ongoing preparations for the start of rice sowing and instructed to timely collect and send high yields of early potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops to the markets of the country, thereby ensuring their abundance.
The head of state also instructed to keep under constant control the construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.
Separate instructions related to the holding of high-level events on the occasion of the upcoming holidays in June - International Children's Day, World Bicycle Day and World Environment Day. The esteemed President noted that these significant dates should be celebrated at the highest level and leave good memories in people's memory.
