The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree on the construction of a bridge across the Garabogaz Bay
On June 16, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree, according to which the State Agency for Road Construction Management was permitted to conclude a contract with “Altkom” Road Construction” Limited Liability Company (Ukraine) for the design and construction of a two-way two-lane road bridge across the Garabogaz Bay along the highway Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan and its supply roads, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The document prescribes to start construction work in July 2022 and to hand over the automobile bridge and its supply roads with full readiness for operation in June 2024.
