President of Turkmenistan congratulates diplomatic staff on their professional holiday

On February 18, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the employees of Turkmenistan’s diplomatic service on the annually celebrated Diplomatic Workers’ Day in the country.

“In the Year of ‘Independent neutral Turkmenistan — the homeland of purposeful winged horses’ new high goals have been set to further enhance the international prestige of our state. I am confident that you will make a worthy contribution to the comprehensive development of political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation at both regional and international levels,” the Head of State noted.

“The foreign policy and diplomacy of our permanently neutral state, based on the principles of peace and trust, are aimed at creating unique opportunities in the international arena for the implementation of long-term national programs.

In this regard, the country’s diplomatic service is tasked with high requirements for implementing effective mechanisms for political-diplomatic, international legal, and trade-economic consultations at interstate and intergovernmental levels.

Today, Turkmenistan, striving for high developmental milestones, confidently moves toward a bright future. Rooted in the humanistic principles of our ancestors, the foreign policy and diplomacy of our independent, permanently neutral homeland are aimed at creating the necessary conditions on the international stage for the realization of national programs. Guided by the Program ‘Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State: National Socio-Economic Development Program of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052,’ the employees of the diplomatic service actively participate in implementing exemplary foreign policy aimed at strengthening international relations through the promotion of peace and security, as well as reinforcing the position of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan on the world stage,” the President emphasized.

The Head of State wished diplomatic workers good health, well-being, and great success in their work to further enhance the authority of our state in the world.
