On June 27, Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of the velayats, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The meeting discussed the progress of seasonal fieldwork in the regions of the country, and the pace of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities.
As noted, at present time settlements are being made with tenants for delivered grain, in the regions, along with harvesting, cotton crops are cared for, uninterrupted operation of agricultural machinery and units is organized at full capacity.
In the rice fields of the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, crop care continues in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology. In the Balkan and Mary velayats, sugar beet sowing is carried out at a high rate.
On behalf of the head of state, work is being carried out to improve the reclamation state of lands and the rational use of water resources.
Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of high quality and prompt completion of harvesting, timely settlement of accounts with grain growers for delivered grain.
The head of state noted that today the foundations of a future high harvest are being laid, so it is necessary to carry out high quality plowing of the vacated land, attach great importance to the quality of seed material, and the rational use of water for irrigation. The solution of these issues should be approached taking into account the achievements of modern science and the agricultural traditions of the ancestors.
Emphasizing the need for proper irrigation of crops at the present time, esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to visit Kerki in the near future and establish a permanent water management center there. Field meetings of the center will be held taking into account the volume of water reserves, the President of the country said, noting that in the velayats it is important to ensure full-fledged water supply to farmland.
Arkadagly Serdar instructed to continue the work of the agro-industrial complex at the proper level, improve the water supply of sown areas, and maintain channels, channels and reservoirs in proper condition. Together with specialized services, it is necessary to prepare proposals for improving the activities of the agro-industrial complex in accordance with the requirements of the day.
