Landlocked states should have access to the international market

The development of transport links, transit corridors and new routes is on the agenda of the Ministerial Transport Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries that opened in Avaza.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in his video message to the participants of the International Transport Forum, put forward a proposal to develop a resolution of the UN General Assembly on the countries remote from the sea.

The head of state noted the need to start developing a UN Resolution on enhancing the role of these states in the development and strengthening of global transport cooperation. Adding that Turkmenistan is open to proposals and can start preparing the document.
