Turkmenistan and Afghanistan discussed the development of cooperation in transit cargo transportation
On May 23, 2023, a meeting was held online between representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, the Ministry of Transport, Customs, Trade and Oil and Gas Departments of Afghanistan and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Agency "Turkmenautaulaglary" of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, State Migration, Customs and Border Services of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues aimed at developing cooperation in transit cargo transportation through Afghanistan, carried out for the export of Turkmenistan's national oil and gas products.
