The winners of the “Silk Way-2022” rally-raid and the Asian Weightlifting Championship among juniors and youth who returned to Turkmenistan were highly appreciated by the country’s leadership. A solemn ceremony of awarding athletes was held at the “Avaza” Sports Complex.
At the Asian Weightlifting Championship among juniors and youth, held in July 2022 in Tashkent, Medine Amanova and Saparly Muhyyev successfully performed. Young weightlifters returned home with three gold medals.
Participants of the International “Silk Way-2022” rally-raid also showed impressive results. In the “T2 over 1000 kilometers” nomination, riders from Turkmenistan took the entire podium.
Shohrat and Merdan Toylyevs were awarded gold medals and the Cup of Winners. The race was held on the territory of the Russian Federation. The route of the rally-raid from Astrakhan to Moscow was 4474 kilometers. On the “Nissan petrol” SUV, the Toylyev brothers covered the specified distance in 48 hours 47 minutes and 25 seconds.
High state awards and valuable gifts from the head of state were also awarded to athletes, who took 2nd and 4rd prizes at international competitions.
