Turkmenistan's transport and logistics system presented in Beijing

On June 21, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China, with the support of Huahe International Business Consultancy, held a business meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan on the disclosure of Turkmenistan's transport and logistics potential in the Beijing law firm Yinghe.

The event was attended by representatives of the Beijing office of JSC "Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan" (TLCT), as well as Chinese transport and logistics companies and Associations, the China-SCO Pilot Zone and the State Administration of Railways of the People's Republic of China.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China proposed to consider the issues of increasing cargo transportation from China, which is a strategic partner of Turkmenistan, using the possibilities of international transport and transit corridors running through Turkmenistan in the direction of regions with enormous potential, such as South and West Asia, Eastern and Southern Europe, the Middle East and others.

The participants were also shown videos revealing historical and cultural values, as well as concerning the new city of Arkadag.

Then Che Tanglai, Deputy Director of the International Container Train Coordination Center at the Chinese Association of Transport and Communications, spoke.

During the meeting, ideas on the activation of rail and road transport and international multimodal transport corridors China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Georgia-Turkey-Europe were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, bilateral negotiations were held with individual companies.
