President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on February 10th congratulated participants of the Export Goods Exhibition of the Republic of Türkiýe, held in Ashgabat, on the opening of its work.
"Today, the Republic of Türkiýe is one of the major trade and economic partners of our country: Turkish companies closely cooperate with Turkmen partners – they successfully implement joint projects in various segments of the economy and expand constructive dialogue in the business sphere. This trend is clearly traced in the consistently growing relations in many areas between the friendly Turkmen and Turkish peoples, which have been regarded since ancient times as 'two states – one nation'," emphasized the head of state.
"At the exhibition opening today, achievements, advanced practical developments, innovative proposals and developments of Turkish companies in many spheres will be widely presented, in particular, in the agricultural complex, food industry, construction, production of industrial equipment, energy, chemical industry, as well as in medicine, education and science. Among the exhibitors are not only companies operating in Turkmenistan, but also those presenting their products for the first time. This fact once again clearly demonstrates the enormous interest of businessmen from the two friendly countries in mutually beneficial cooperation with a focus on long-term perspective.
I am convinced that the current exhibition will be of great importance in expanding bilateral trade and economic partnership, increasing trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiýe, further developing business contacts with Turkish companies and investors, and broadly attracting capital investments into the national economy," noted the President of Turkmenistan.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants of the event good health, well-being, as well as great success in their lofty aspirations for the development of multifaceted interaction between the Turkmen and Turkish peoples, based on the principles of friendship, brotherhood and mutual respect.
