Around 150 families moved into new housing in Türkmenabat and Kerki
In the cities of Türkmenabat and Kerki in Lebap velayat, around 150 families moved into new multi-apartment residential buildings during 2025.
According to the report, under the presidential program, more than 95,000 square meters of housing were built and commissioned in the region over the past year.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at a government meeting, stated that in 2026 it is planned to build and commission more than 900,000 square meters of residential buildings across the country. The head of state emphasized the importance of strict oversight over the construction of housing, hospitals, and other social facilities in the regions.
