Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov reported on the Work Plan for Partnership between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) for 2026.
The plan includes a range of activities aimed at strengthening peace and security, ensuring sustainable development, expanding humanitarian cooperation, and promoting preventive diplomacy. Measures will also be implemented to enhance customs, border, and cybersecurity, address important issues related to economic development and regional economic cooperation, and improve energy efficiency, environmental safety, and climate change adaptation.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country pays particular attention to developing relations with international organizations, including the OSCE. Approving the 2026 Work Plan for Partnership between the Government of Turkmenistan and the OSCE, the Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to carry out the corresponding tasks.
