Celebrations were held in Lebap velayat in honor of the national equestrian group "Galkynyş," which received international certificates from the World Circus Federation and the European Circus Association for its contribution to circus arts at an international festival in Monte Carlo, Principality of Monaco.
On the festive square in front of the Historical and Local History Museum of Lebap velayat, the performers were welcomed with bread and salt by representatives of the older generation, public organizations, cultural figures, and local residents. The ceremony was opened by a literary and musical composition performed by the creative ensemble of the State Music and Drama Theater of the Lebap velayat named after Seyitnazar Seydi.
Members of the group toured museum exhibitions, including a display dedicated to the ancient art of horse breeding, decorative and applied arts, and the craft of dutar-making. Proceeding along Bitarap Turkmenistan Avenue toward the "Türkmeniň ak öýi" building, the performers were greeted with applause from residents gathered at squares in front of the theatre and the regional library.
At the "Türkmeniň ak öýi", concert performances were held, after which ceremony participants adopted an address to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The highlight of the celebrations was a display performance by the "Galkynyş" group, featuring breathtaking equestrian stunts by riders on swift horses. The festivities concluded with a ceremonial sadaka.
