Turkmenistan and Belgium discussed further strengthening of bilateral relations
Turkmenistan Ambassador to Belgium Sapar Palvanov met with Belgian Minister of State, former President of the European Council, and former Prime Minister Charles Michel at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Brussels. During the meeting, the parties discussed Turkmenistan's cooperation with the European Union and prospects for developing bilateral relations with Belgium. The parties noted that Turkmenistan has significant potential for expanding cooperation with European partners in various areas and emphasized the importance of further strengthening and developing the legal and institutional framework for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union. Particular attention was paid to Turkmenistan's role as a stable and reliable partner, contributing to the strengthening of peace, security, and sustainable development in the region.
