Saudi Arabia donates 25 Tons of dates to Turkmenistan
On March 31, 2026, a ceremonial handover of a humanitarian cargo took place at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Ashgabat. On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the King of Saudi Arabia, 25 tons of high-quality dates from the 1447 Hijri harvest were presented to the Government of Turkmenistan. This initiative, which has become a valued tradition, is part of the Kingdom’s international program to support friendly states. Participants in the event emphasized the special significance of such gestures in strengthening interstate dialogue and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. During the ceremony, sincere gratitude was expressed to the Government of Saudi Arabia for the generous gift, noting that it symbolizes the strong bonds of brotherhood and spiritual kinship between the two peoples.
