Turkmenistan showcases national traditions and cultural values in Tajikistan

On April 1, 2026, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan took part in a cultural event held at the Tajik State Institute of Culture and Arts named after Mirzo Tursunzade, aimed at strengthening national traditions and promoting cultural values.
As part of the event, the Embassy organized a national cultural corner dedicated to the 2026 motto, "Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan - homeland of purposeful winged horses", as well as to the country’s achievements since independence.
Participants paid special attention to a thematic exhibition displaying books by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, highlighting Turkmenistan’s successes in various fields and the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
During the event, the rector of the Tajik State Institute of Culture and Arts named after Mirzo Tursunzade was presented with the book Ganatly Bedewler by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, published in Tajik, as a symbol of strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between the two friendly countries.
