Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov held a meeting in Tbilisi with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Alexander Khvtisiashvili. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising directions for the development of bilateral cooperation. In this regard, special attention was paid to the issues of expanding relations in political, economic, transport, and energy sectors. The diplomats emphasized the important role of mutual visits in deepening the strategic partnership.

The meeting also reviewed documents related to the legal framework of bilateral cooperation and noted the necessity of their improvement.
