On April 4, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, paid a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he reviewed the progress of the second phase of construction, as well as projects for new buildings and the modernization of existing facilities. Hero-Arkadag held working meetings with the participation of relevant officials, according to the online newspaper "Türkmenistan: Golden age".
The National Leader of the Turkmen people arrived at the headquarters of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Fund Oguljahan Atabayeva briefed on the modernization of the “Jahan” Creativity Center and the State Children’s Library named after Bazar Amanov.
It was noted that alongside the modernization of the State Children’s Library, plans include the construction of an observatory with a telescope for the scientific study and observation of celestial bodies. At the “Jahan” Creativity Center, facilities will include a fitness hall, language labs for learning foreign languages, other specialized classrooms, and open and indoor sports halls. Children will be trained in the basics of design and marketing, with broad opportunities provided for both children and parents.
Then, Vice-President of the Fund R. Bazarov reported on the pace of modernization of the 500-seat “Şehitler” Mosque in Ashgabat, as well as the construction and decoration of a mosque in the city of Fuzuli in the Republic of Azerbaijan by Turkmen specialists.
Hero-Arkadag noted that as part of the modernization of the capital’s mosque, the prayer hall had been expanded, emphasizing the importance of paying particular attention to the quality of construction and finishing materials. Regarding the mosque under construction in Azerbaijan as a symbol of friendship and brotherhood, it is important to consider the opinions of local residents, he continued, providing a number of recommendations.
Subsequently, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty held a working meeting with the participation of the vice-presidents of the Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
Hero-Arkadag was provided with information on preparations for the visit of experienced doctors from the People’s Republic of China and faculty members of medical universities of the friendly state to Turkmenistan.
Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of consistently achieving the noble goals of the Foundation and making efforts to strengthen international cooperation in this area.
Doctor Arkadag highlighted the feasibility of creating a “Non-Traditional Medicine” office at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryyev, organizing joint activities in this area with relevant structures, and, based on his extensive experience, provided valuable recommendations.
