On April 3, 2026, in Islamabad, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Atajan Movlamov met with the Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkmenistan, Faryal Legari, the press service of the Turkmen Embassy in Pakistan reported.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in several areas of mutual interest. Special attention was given to strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, and promoting joint infrastructure and energy projects.

The parties also discussed ways to enhance interaction between the business communities of the two countries, including through the organization of industrial and agricultural exhibitions in Turkmenistan and Pakistan in 2026.
