Representatives of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan express great interest in strengthening cooperation with the Embassy of Turkmenistan to expand practical relations between the business communities of the two countries and explore new opportunities. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, this was stated during a meeting held at our country's embassy in Islamabad on April 7th.
The Pakistani side at the meeting was led by Shahid Khalil, the Secretary General of the aforementioned chamber of the friendly country.
During the conversation, the Turkmen side provided detailed information about the reforms being implemented in the country. It was emphasized that these reforms provide a significant impetus to the development of foreign trade and Turkmenistan's more active participation in the global economy.
The guests were also briefed on Turkmenistan's vast natural gas reserves, petroleum products, and the increasing trade and export opportunities based on the export of textile and agricultural goods. Similarly, special attention was paid to the international business forums planned for this year, which will bring together hundreds of entrepreneurs from all corners of the world.
The parties confirmed their interest in the active participation of businesspeople in joint forums and exhibitions aimed at finding new ways for mutually beneficial trade relations and further strengthening the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
