Turkmen Diplomat met with the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Muhammetgeldi Ayazov, met with the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), Ms. Deemah Al-Yahya. This was reported on the website of our country's foreign ministry.

As noted in the report, during the meeting held on April 14, the issue of establishing and developing mutually beneficial digital cooperation between Turkmenistan, the Digital Cooperation Organization, and its member states was discussed.

Deemah Al-Yahya spoke in detail about the organization's activities. It was noted that, as part of its strategic goals, importance is attached to strengthening digital cooperation between Central Asia and the organization's member states, developing cross-border investments, and conducting high-level ministerial talks to align mutual approaches.

The Turkmen diplomat stated that in recent years, special importance has been given to developing the digital economy in Turkmenistan, noting that a new Concept and State Program for this field for the years 2026-2028 have been approved.
