Turkmenistan and the UAE discuss development of cooperation in Horse Breeding

On April 14, 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates, Bayram Bayramov, and the Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), Mohamed Ahmed Al Harbi. The meeting focused on the development of cooperation in the field of horse breeding. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the parties considered the possibility of institutionalizing the partnership through the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding between the relevant authorities. The interlocutors also discussed aspects of technical cooperation, including the exchange of experience in digital breeding registration systems and veterinary protocols.

The parties confirmed their readiness to maintain regular dialogue in order to coordinate future joint initiatives, emphasizing the significance of the horse as an important cultural symbol for both nations.
