Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with Hiroyuki Tsubai, Member of the Board of Directors, Executive Vice President of "ITOCHU Corporation," President of the Machinery and Equipment Company, and Chairman of the Japan-Turkmenistan Committee on Economic Cooperation. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

As noted, during the meeting held on April 16, projects carried out by "ITOCHU Corporation" in Turkmenistan and other matters of cooperation of mutual interest were discussed.

The parties also exchanged views on making appropriate preparations for the successful holding of the next 16th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen Committees on Economic Cooperation, which is planned to take place in Tokyo in December of this year.
