On April 22, as part of a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived at the “EXPO” exhibition center in Astana, where the Regional Environmental Summit will be held. Here, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was warmly welcomed by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by the online newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden age”.
Before the start of the Summit, heads of delegations visited the International Exhibition “RES 2026 EXPO,” held in Astana within the framework of the Regional Environmental Summit, which has become a kind of technological showcase of the “green” future of Central Asia. The exhibition center displays developments by leading global companies and innovative enterprises in the field of energy transition.
The National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at the International Exhibition “RES 2026 EXPO” became a vivid reflection of the unique harmony between rich cultural heritage and achievements in the modern environmental system, attracting visitors with its diverse content.
A representative of Turkmenistan introduced the distinguished guests to the exhibition, which, alongside the country’s unique nature and rich culture, highlights the key directions of state-level efforts in environmental protection, as well as the initiatives, programs, and projects being implemented in this field.
A central place in the exposition is occupied by the multi-volume scientific and encyclopedic work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, “Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan.”
At the same time, the stands present the country’s achievements in the field of ecology, clearly demonstrating Turkmenistan’s commitment to ensuring environmental well-being and to the careful preservation of nature.
