Turkmenistan strengthens cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system on April 24. During the meeting, issues of improving the country's communication system and training modern specialists for the industry were reviewed. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

Vice-Premier Batyr Annaev reported on the work being carried out to develop international cooperation in the communications sector. In particular, he submitted for the Head of State's consideration a corresponding proposal on mastering new technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital systems together with the International Telecommunication Union.

The esteemed President, having heard the report, noted the significant role of highly educated specialists in the development of the digital economy. Approving the submitted proposal, the Head of State gave specific instructions on organizing professional training at an international level.
