A meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan, Ji Shumin. This was reported on the official website of the foreign policy agency of our country.

As noted in the report, the meeting discussed issues related to the practical implementation of agreements reached between the two countries at the state and government levels in March-April of this year.

Reviewing the potential for cooperation between Turkmenistan and China, the interlocutors emphasized that priority areas for bilateral cooperation have been identified in the gas sector, transport and logistics, and the production of mineral fertilizers.

The diplomats exchanged views on future joint work aimed at implementing projects in the aforementioned fields.

During the meeting, the importance of mutual relations in areas such as education, science, and medicine was also highlighted.

The parties agreed to continue political and diplomatic negotiations on a regular and systematic basis to carry out the instructions of the leaders of the two countries.
