From April 27 to 29, the international innovation forum "SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026" was held in the capital of Japan, Tokyo. A Turkmen delegation consisting of representatives from the Ministry of Communication of Turkmenistan actively participated in the event. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

As noted in the report, during the forum, presentations were delivered and exhibitions were organized on key areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), 5G/6G communication systems, "smart" cities, "green" energy, and the digital economy. Forum participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with new products, exchange experiences, and discuss cooperation opportunities.

Within the framework of the forum, the Turkmen delegation also held working meetings and negotiations with representatives of leading foreign companies in the fields of technology and digital development. They discussed possibilities for establishing cooperation in digital infrastructure, telecommunications, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital services, "Smart City" solutions — urban management, the startup ecosystem — developing young startups with international startup platforms and technology centers, and the implementation of joint projects in the future.
