A meeting was held in Islamabad between Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, and a delegation from the Pakistani commercial bank HabibMetro Bank, led by the Head of the Foreign Missions Department, Fatima Zehra. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

The sides discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the financial and banking sector, including improving settlement mechanisms and supporting joint projects.

Special emphasis was placed on establishing direct interbank relations, which is expected to improve conditions for business operations and stimulate investment activity.

Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in continuing dialogue and maintaining regular contacts on key areas of cooperation.
