Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova reported on May 1 at a government meeting on the results of the activities of the supervised complex for January–April of the current year. This was reported by online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

As reported, during the period under review, various cultural events and celebrations were held dedicated to the motto of 2026, «Independent, neutral Turkmenistan – homeland of purposeful winged horses» the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence, as well as national holidays and commemorative dates.

During the specified period, Turkmen specialists regularly took part in international cultural events, conferences, and seminars held abroad. In addition, representatives of the country participated in a meeting of Turkic world artists and an exhibition organized within its framework in Tashkent, where they performed successfully.

Information was also presented on the work carried out by the media, the State Publishing Service, and the Oguz han Film Association «Türkmenfilm».

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper preparation and ensuring a high level of organization of events scheduled for May, as well as the consistent improvement of the cultural sector’s activities. The Head of State also instructed the Vice Prime Minister to continue efforts to carefully preserve the national historical and cultural heritage.
