The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Türkiye, Mekan Ishangulyyev, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of the Republic of Türkiye, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. This was reported by online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

According to the report, during the meeting held on May 1, the parties engaged in an interested exchange of views on the prospects for further development of effective Turkmen–Turkish cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as on the diversification of business contacts in light of current realities. The interlocutors paid special attention to the implementation of new joint projects in various areas of bilateral partnership. In this context, the sides noted the presence of significant potential for the consistent increase in mutual trade volumes and for the deepening and intensification of ties between the business communities of the two countries.

During the meeting, the important role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen–Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation and the Turkmen–Turkish Business Council was highlighted, along with the organization of specialized exhibitions and joint business forums.
