On May 2, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, familiarized himself with the progress of construction works in the second phase of development of Arkadag city, reviewed the projects of planned and ongoing facilities, and held a working meeting with relevant officials. This was reported by online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

Hero-Arkadag, as well as the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Deryageldi Orazov, and the mayor of the city, Gulshat Mammedova, inspected the construction site of the mosque being built there. Along the route, detailed information was provided on the ongoing works, the architectural features of the mosque entrances and minarets, as well as the types of building materials used.

In addition, Hero-Arkadag was introduced to the progress of the exterior finishing works of the museum being actively constructed within the mosque complex. After reviewing the design elements and decorative features of the building, Hero-Arkadag exchanged views on this matter with the leaders of the new city.

During the working meeting, Orazov expressed gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunity for the delegation of Arkadag city to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, organized in Baku by the Government of Azerbaijan jointly with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).

Emphasizing that the achievements of Arkadag city and the significance of its international certifications as a «smart» city should be properly highlighted at the upcoming forum in Baku, Hero-Arkadag noted that the innovative technologies and digital systems used in the construction of the new city will ensure its worthy place in the international arena.
