A meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the UAE, Bayram Bayramov, and the Chief Executive Officer of Dragon Oil, Abdulkarim Al Maazmi, took place in Dubai on April 30. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Embassy in the UAE. 

During the meeting, the sides discussed how long-term partnership in the oil and gas sector contributes to broader economic progress in both countries, as well as joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the energy security of the entire region.

The parties confirmed their commitment to creating a stable and predictable environment for the company’s ongoing operational activities on the Turkmen shelf.

The meeting highlighted Turkmenistan’s role as a reliable partner ready to expand joint projects amid the changing global energy market. The management of Dragon Oil expressed strong interest in deepening cooperation, which opens new prospects for the introduction of innovative technologies and an increase in production volumes.
