The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan, Lee Wonjae, visited the «Balkan» shipbuilding plant, where he held a meeting with the company’s director, Guychmurad Amanov, and inspected the construction site of multi-purpose dry cargo vessels. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ashgabat.

The ambassador also met with employees of the Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology (KSIT) company.

The parties discussed the current status of the shipbuilding project, which serves as a successful example of economic cooperation between the two countries, and outlined ways to further develop their cooperation.
