A meeting dedicated to the results of work for January–April 2026 was held on May 5 in the administrative building of the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the ministry’s press service.

It was noted that the growth rate of completed works and services in the transport and communications complex during the reporting period reached 113.8 percent. The growth rate of freight transportation by road, rail, air, sea, and river transport amounted to 101 percent compared to the same period last year, while passenger transportation increased by 102.7 percent.

During the reporting period, the growth rates of services were as follows: Ministry of Railway Transport — 106.5 percent, Ministry of Automobile Transport — 124.2 percent, State service «Türkmenhowaýollary» — 116.8 percent, State service of Maritime and River Transport — 106.3 percent, and Ministry of communications — 114.3 percent.
