A meeting between Finnish experts from the Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and researchers from a Center for Strategic Studies at the country's foreign policy university was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This was reported by online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

The meeting, which took place at an Institute of International Relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, was held in an atmosphere of openness and mutual trust.

The Center's Director, Ambassador Shiri Shiriyev, briefed the guests on the work of his institution. He briefly described the conferences and meetings attended by the Center's researchers, reported on contacts with analysts from other countries with whom business relations have recently been established, and shared his experience.

The Center staff members Bekdurdy Amansaryyev, Allaberdi Niyazov, and Orazmuhamed Annabayev also participated in the discussion with the Finnish experts.

In order to establish long-term cooperation between the Foundation's specialists and the Center for Strategic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a corresponding memorandum is being prepared for signing.
