On May 10 in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as part of the international competition «Pearl of the East», a world championship of Akhal-Teke horse beauty was held. Akhal-Teke horses from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan took part. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».
The international beauty contest was held separately among stallions and mares aged two, three, four, six years and older, as well as among one-year-old foals.
The first to enter the arena were the two-year-old horses.
By unanimous decision of the judges, the stallion named Meledag from the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex was declared world champion in the beauty contest among two-year-old horses. Under thunderous applause, the winning Turkmen stallion was adorned with award blankets titled «World Champion» and «Pearl of the East».
In the beauty contest among two-year-old horses, the winners also included the stallions Manoli-Khon from Uzbekistan and Raid from Tajikistan.
In the contest among three-year-old horses, Zamin-Khon from Uzbekistan became the winner. The stallion Gyunesh from the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex won second place, while Murod-Khon from Uzbekistan took third place.
Among four-year-old horses, the stallion Melikush-Khon owned by private breeder B. Ibodullaev won first place, Sanat-Khon owned by A. Muhamedov took second place, and Sahabatly from the President of Turkmenistan’s Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex took third place.
In the contest among horses aged six years and older, the title of world champion was awarded to the stallion Aýgytly from the President of Turkmenistan’s Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex. In a ceremonial atmosphere, the magnificent horse Aygytly was awarded the «Pearl of the East» and «World Champion» blankets. Its trainer is the honored horse breeder of Turkmenistan, Kakamyrat Agamyradov. In this competition, the stallion Diyaz-Khon took second place, and Gurman from Uzbekistan took third place.
By unanimous decision of the judges, the stallion Aýgytly from the President of Turkmenistan’s Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex was declared the absolute winner of the «Pearl of the East» world championship. Thus, the outstanding Turkmen horse Aýgytly was awarded the main prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, while its trainer received the keys to a passenger car, a cup, and a certificate of honor.
In the mare category, the absolute champion title was awarded to a horse representing Uzbekistan. The mare’s trainer received the prize of the President of Turkmenistan — the keys to a modern passenger car, as well as cups and certificates of honor.
