Representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan, led by Ambassador Atajan Movlamov, visited Capital Smart City — the largest «smart city» project in Pakistan, currently under development and located about 30 minutes from Islamabad. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the master plan and development concept of the new «smart city», which is designed to accommodate more than 1.7 million residents.
The project includes modern residential and commercial districts, a well-developed transport system, a financial center, educational and healthcare institutions, as well as tourism and recreational facilities. It also provides for hotels, exhibition centers, and an international-standard golf course.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides highly appreciated the level of the implemented solutions and expressed interest in exploring potential cooperation in the fields of urban development and innovative technologies.
