On May 11, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via a digital system. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tanryguly Atahallyev and the hyakims of the velayats, during which seasonal work in the country's agricultural complex and regional development issues were discussed. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The hyakims of the velayats reported on the final stage of care for the wheat fields and preparations for the grain harvest. Information was also provided on the progress of inter-row cultivation, thinning, and weeding in cotton fields, as well as the care of spring vegetable and melon crops. The organization of the lambing and calving season in livestock farms and the status of silk cocoon production were also noted.

After listening to the reports, the Head of State emphasized that agrotechnical standards must be strictly observed when caring for agricultural crops. Specific instructions were given to the hyakims regarding the full preparation of combines and reception points for the grain harvest season and the efficient use of machinery. Additionally, it was ordered to monitor the quality of social and industrial facilities under construction in the regions.

In his speech, Vice-Premier Tanryguly Atahallyev congratulated the President on the victory of Akhal-Teke horses in international competitions held in Uzbekistan. He then reported on the general situation in the agricultural sector at the national level.

At the end of the working meeting, the Honorable President once again emphasized the importance of agricultural work in ensuring food abundance. The Head of State instructed that all necessary measures be taken to successfully complete the silkworm care season and the livestock breeding campaign.
