In Belgium, the European External Action Service (EEAS) held a training seminar attended by delegations of diplomats and leading international specialists from all five Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

The training course was comprehensive and covered key areas of contemporary interregional dialogue. The theoretical part of the program also included a fundamental overview of the EU political system and a detailed analysis of the role of the European External Action Service.

The work then moved to the European Diplomatic Academy in Bruges. There, debates were held between academy participants and representatives of Central Asia. Representatives of Turkmenistan actively participated in discussions on transport, energy, and environmental issues.
