“The recent participation of Turkmen horse breeders in international equestrian competitions and the «Pearl of the East» beauty contest held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, has become one of the memorable historical events. The participation of Akhal-Teke horses from Turkmenistan—the ancient homeland of this unique world heritage—has further enhanced the level and significance of the international competition.
In thrilling horse races and the «Pearl of the East» beauty contest, the «heavenly» horses, which are the pride of the Turkmen people, demonstrated their speed and beauty, while jockeys showcased their skill, thereby enhancing the prestige of our country and achieving great success.
The organization of ceremonial events in a «Tashkent Park» in Ashgabat, as well as in an «Ashgabat» Park in Tashkent, dedicated to the achievements of Turkmen horse breeders and the winning of top awards at the international equestrian competitions and the «Pearl of the East» beauty contest held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, is a vivid demonstration of the enrichment of Turkmen-Uzbek relations with new content,” the Head of State emphasized.
The President of Turkmenistan also stated that work continues in the country to preserve the purity of the Akhal-Teke horse breed, develop equestrian sports, and expand international cooperation in this field.
The Head of State wished Turkmen horse breeders strong health, prosperity, and further success in their work to advance the art of horse breeding in Turkmenistan.
