A President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent a letter of condolence to a President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the numerous human casualties, injuries, and widespread destruction caused by severe storms and heavy rains in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, the Head of State conveyed sincere sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of the deceased in this difficult time, and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
