An international conference titled «Turkmenistan: Language, Literature, History and Culture» was held on May 14, 2026, at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn. This was reported by a press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Participants of the conference particularly emphasized the significance of the 2026 motto — «Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses». They noted that the motto reflects the core principles of the country’s state policy, based on neutrality, peace, and national unity. It was also highlighted that the motto symbolizes not only the independence and international prestige of Turkmenistan but also the people’s aspiration for new achievements, development, and prosperity.

Representatives of Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly delivered substantive presentations dedicated to the Turkmen language, culture, and national traditions.

During the conference, special attention was paid to the country’s achievements in political, economic, cultural, and social spheres, as well as to the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
