A Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on May 15 at a government meeting on the ongoing work to improve the national standardization system. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».

As reported, necessary measures are being taken to ensure quality control. In particular, modern equipment is used in laboratories under a Main State Service «Türkmenstandartlary» to determine product quality indicators, and fruitful cooperation is being carried out with foreign companies in this field.

In this regard, the Vice-Premier submitted a relevant proposal for consideration by the Head of State.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that effective work is being carried out in the country to modernize the national standardization system. Approving the proposal aimed at improving the activities of the Main State Service «Türkmenstandartlary», the Head of Turkmenistan issued a number of instructions to the Vice-Premier in this regard.
