A Deputy Prime Minister Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported on May 15 at a government meeting on the ongoing work to ensure Turkmenistan’s high-level participation in the International Horticultural Exhibition «Green Ekspo — 2027», which will be held in Yokohama, Japan, from March 19 to September 26, 2027. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».

It was noted that approximately 80 countries are expected to take part in this global exhibition, held under the motto «Designing Future Society for Our Lives». The Vice-Premier submitted relevant proposals for consideration by the Head of State.

Summing up the report, a President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is effectively developing multilateral relations with foreign countries. Approving the proposals on the country’s participation in the International Horticultural Exhibition to be held in Japan, the Head of State instructed the Vice-Premier to carry out the necessary work in this regard.
