Report presented on preparations for the 145th anniversary of Ashgabat

On May 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system. During the meeting, Vice Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov reported on the progress of preparations for the festive events to be organized in the capital on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of Ashgabat. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

As noted, according to the festive program, it is planned to organize conferences covering various fields, creative meetings, musical celebrations, exhibitions, and excursions to the scenic spots of the city. A festive concert featuring cultural and art workers will also be held at the "Ashgabat" song and music center.

On May 24–25 this year, the XXV multidisciplinary international exhibition and conference "White City Ashgabat" will take place. This international event will showcase the achievements of the country's ministries, departmental agencies, local entrepreneurs, and foreign partners. During the conference, issues regarding the development of the capital based on the "smart" city concept and attracting investments to this area will be discussed.

Within the framework of preparations for the festive celebrations, comprehensive work is being carried out to clean and improve the avenues, streets, and buildings of the capital, as well as to decorate and illuminate the city accordingly. The Vice Prime Minister submitted relevant proposals on the ongoing measures to the Head of State for consideration.

Having heard the report, the Head of State emphasized the great importance of holding the XXV multidisciplinary international exhibition and conference "White City Ashgabat" at a high organizational level. The President instructed the Vice Prime Minister to ensure the high-level organization of all cultural events dedicated to the glorious anniversary of our capital and City Day.
