High-level preparations underway for "Last Bell" celebrations in the capital and provinces of Turkmenistan

On May 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system. During the meeting, Vice Prime Minister Batyr Mammedov reported on the progress of preparations for the events to be organized on the occasion of the completion of the 2025-2026 academic year, the "Last Bell" ceremony, and Ashgabat City Day, "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

According to the plan, flower-laying ceremonies will be organized at the Independence Monument in the capital and at flagpole squares in the country's provinces on May 25. Following that, festive events dedicated to the end of the academic year will be held in all secondary schools of the country. On this occasion, exemplary graduates and distinguished education workers will be solemnly presented with keepsake gifts on behalf of the Head of State.

On the festive day, excursions to scenic spots and cultural-entertainment centers of Ashgabat and Arkadag cities, as well as the provinces, will be organized for school graduates. In addition, festive concerts featuring masters of culture and art are planned to be held on the occasion of the glorious dates. The Vice Prime Minister submitted relevant proposals prepared for organizing the celebrations at a high level to the Head of State for consideration.

Having heard the report, the Head of State emphasized the importance of widespread celebration events in the country. The President instructed the Vice Prime Minister to ensure that all "Last Bell" ceremonies, to be organized on the occasion of the end of the academic year and Ashgabat City Day, are held at a high organizational level.
