On May 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system. During the meeting, Vice Prime Minister Batyr Annaev reported on the preparatory work being carried out by the Ministry of Motor Transport to hold the 2026 grain harvesting season in the country in an organized manner, "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

As noted, guided by the relevant Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the timely and loss-free transportation of the harvested wheat from the fields to reception points, warehouses, and elevators on a contractual basis is envisioned. Currently, appropriate measures are being implemented to ensure the uninterrupted, efficient, and coordinated operation of the respective transport vehicles.

Having heard the report, the Head of State noted that effective work is being carried out to comprehensively develop the country's motor transport sector and to systematically supply it with modern cargo trucks. The President gave specific instructions to the Vice Prime Minister on organizing the smooth operation of transport vehicles during the grain harvesting season, preparing them on time, and increasing the quality and volume of freight transport services.
