Ceremonies of laying flowers at the Monument of the Constitution and at the Main Flag of the country were held in Ashgabat with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».

The Head of State laid a wreath at the foot of the Monument of the Constitution, which symbolizes the inviolability of the state foundations of the independent Fatherland, its democratic principles, and the centuries-old traditions of popular governance, which are being worthily continued today.

Following the example of the President of Turkmenistan, members of the Government, leaders of the Mejlis, representatives of military and law enforcement agencies, heads of ministries and departments, honored elders, representatives of public organizations, as well as all participants of the ceremony laid wreaths and flower bouquets.

After the flower-laying ceremony at the Monument of the Constitution, the celebrations moved to a festively decorated square, where a 133-meter flagpole—one of the tallest in the world—stands, on which the Main Flag of Turkmenistan majestically flies.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov laid a magnificent wreath at the foot of the giant flagpole. Following the Head of State, the participants of the ceremony also laid flower bouquets.
