A President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited a Chinese President Xi Jinping to pay a visit to Turkmenistan. The visit is expected to give fresh impetus to promising areas of cooperation and open a new chapter in the history of Turkmen-Chinese relations. Accepting the invitation, the Chinese President sent a reply letter to his Turkmen counterpart. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

«For a long time, you have made significant efforts to develop Chinese-Turkmen relations, contributed greatly to strengthening the traditional friendship between our two countries, and promoted bilateral cooperation in various fields, which I highly appreciate.

I attach great importance to the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Turkmenistan and wish to maintain close working contacts with you. Thank you for your invitation, and I am ready to visit Turkmenistan at a time convenient for both sides. The foreign ministries of the two countries may maintain close communication on this matter», Xi Jinping emphasized in his letter.

The Chinese President also noted that the Chinese side consistently supports the deepening of mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries in various fields.
