Turkmen–Chinese Business Forum results presented in Beijing

On May 20, 2026, an Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People’s Republic of China organized a presentation event in Beijing dedicated to the outcomes of the Turkmen–Chinese Business Forum and exhibition held in April this year in Ashgabat. This was reported by a press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Speaking at the opening of the event, an Ambassador Parahat Durdyyev informed the participants about important financial projects in various sectors of the national economy, as well as products of domestic producers showcased at the Ashgabat exhibition. Following the negotiations, he called on Chinese partners to invest in Turkmen projects and to further intensify export–import operations.

Speeches were also delivered at the presentation event by a Mayor of a city of Jiaozhou Zhou Lin, a Secretary General of a China Overseas Development Association (CODA) Jian Yun, and a Director of the China–Turkmen Cultural Center Li Zan.

The speakers highlighted the high organizational level of the thematic sessions, as well as the B2B and B2G meetings held within the framework of the Ashgabat forum, and discussed new areas of cooperation.

Representatives of the China Overseas Development Association confirmed their readiness to hold the Turkmen–Chinese Business Forum and exhibition on an annual basis in order to further strengthen trade, economic, and investment partnership between the two countries.
